The fur is made with Hair and Fur: don't forget to select the Geometry mode:
Rendering -> Effects -> Hair and Fur -> Hair and Fur -> geometry
The scene is made in mm. If you have a scene in other units, then just select the object Eichholtz - San Juan Stool - Fur - 001 and in the Hair and Fur modifier press Regrow Hair (Hair and Fur -> Tools -> Regrow Hair).
On the preview Hair Count = 50'000.
In the FBX format, the fur is saved with geometry, but due to restrictions on the weight of the archive, the Hair Count parameter is reduced to 30'000.
