The archaeological finds of Old Nisa are part of the history of Turkmenistan.
The sizes of the found vessels reached 40-60 cm in height, archaeologists date them to the 2nd century BC. e. The vessels served for ritual libations. Most likely, of them
the wine was shed on the altar or the sacred cup.
Ritons - vessels for wine in the form of horns, made of ivory, the sharp end of the horn was completed with carved figures of gods, griffins, winged elephants or the image of a human bull. The rhythm of the rython is surrounded by a wide frieze, decorated with multifigured scenes.
In my version, the rhyton was stylized as the Akhal-Teke horse. The sculptural model is designed as a small architectural form.
