Slavic sky god Svarog
Svarog - the god of heavenly fire, the patron saint of the hearth and blacksmith's craft, was considered the ruler of the Universe. One of the main gods of the Slavic pantheon. In the darkness, he kindled a flame of lightning, breaking the clouds with them. He gave life to the sun. He lit home hearths with his fire and commanded people to live in families, taught them how to work iron, forged the first plow and showed how to plow the land. Having given birth to Dazhd-God and other light gods, Svarog retired, and his children began to rule the world.
